So things are quiet right now at The Duke, we’re actually hard at work on our biggest project we’ve ever taken on, that involves watching through 300-hours of footage, we’re hoping to bring this very special project to you at #DukeFest in 2019, if we can get it finished in time, there’s been some amazing finds along the way already! Found Footage
VHS Donations Wanted!
This week we were very kindly donated a fantastic VHS haul, here’s a look at some of the highlights. We’re always looking for strange and offbeat VHS tapes, if you have anything that you think we’d enjoy then please do get in touch, we’d love to see what you’ve got. You can check these tapes out and loads more during DukeFest at our Great VHS Experiment event!
Tapes, Tapes, Tapes…
Here’s the three VHS tapes we took a brief look at during the DukeFest launch night: a super rare Warner Brothers video dealer trailer tape hosted by Simon Bates, a tape that sadly turned out to be blank that had come all the way from Top Ten Records In Dallas, Texas and a reliable dose of madness from Found Footage Festival and their Strange Men release. For way more VHS craziness come and join us at the main DukeFest in July!
Mystery Mix Volume 5
Dante Fontana from Everything Is Terrible has unleashed Volume 5 of his Mystery Mix series, you cant watch all 2-hours of found footage weirdness online right now. It’s loaded with music videos, strange clips and more!
