EXIT: The Last New Jersey Drive-In
Make sure you put 10-minutes aside today to watch this amazing and quite moving short documentary from 1991 about the closing night of the Route 35 Dive-In Cinema in New Jersey. It made me nostalgic for something I’d never actually been to, do give it a watch.
Evrim meets Manhunter
Tomorrow night (Friday 5 June 2015) our main man Evrim will be introducing Michael Mann’s 1986 classic Manhunter at the Welcome Gallery as part of their Pop Forensics weekend. Evrim will intro the film as well as hold a post-screening Q&A, tickets are FREE so don’t miss this chance to find out what Evrim thinks of this crime classic.
The Neighbourhood turned into The Skid Kid…
With the #DukeFest announcements happening this week we’ve not had a chance to say thanks to those wild souls who came along on Monday night to watch The Neighbourhood with us. At least that was the plan, until we discovered that the tape was in terrible condition and the picture wouldn’t stay still, so we went to plan B – The Skid Kid. Thanks for everyone for going along with the film switch, hope to see you all at #DukeFest!
