It’s Video STore Night this month at The Duke so it’s all video store action this month on the blog. Starting with this great documentary looking at the New York video store Alan’s Alley, this in-depth doc does a great job of giving us a flavour of the place. Sadly it turns out the store closed down last summer, but at least e have this fun film to show us what a great place it was!
As we head off on our #Christmas break we’d just like to say a huge thanks to everyone who’s been along to any of our events through 2015, it’s always so amazing to see you all and we hope you had as much fun as possible! We’ll be back with more film mayhem in 2016, including the return of #DukeFest, in the meantime here’s an early Christmas present from one of our favourite directors Neil Breen, it’s the trailer for his brand new feature Pass Thru film – Merry Christmas everyone!

So pleased to say that our super rare 16MM TV Spot was HD scanned and used as part of the extras on the amazing new Catch My Soul Blu-ray! It was great to be able to help out the team working on the restoration with a little bit extra to feature on the disc.
