Come and join us as the Duke pays tribute to the world of Canadian exploitation filmmaking with Canuxploitation, a night where we’ll celebrate some of Canada’s weirdest, most violent and downright fun cinematic offerings.
Our main feature for the evening is the little seen horror slasher classic: Curtains. This brutal and stylish 1983 Canadian shocker follows the horrific events that befall 6 young actresses who go for an audition at a remote mansion. Sound like a recipe for disaster? It sure is!
Of course the rest of the night will all be Canuxploitation themed, starting with a blazing dose of Trailer Trash mayhem, a fantastic short film, a super tough quiz and amazing music all night long. So come and join us on Wednesday 24th April as the Duke does Canuxploitation!
